WHAT IS PP-R 80
Thai PP-R pipes and fittings are made of PP-R 80 (Random Copolymer Polypropylene 80. Special heat and extraction stability are only two of the features of this product. Its physical and chemical properties are well-suited to transfer potable water and hot water as well. It is recognized by experts as one of the most extensive and at the same time, the best plastic pipe system available.

Pipe and fittings 100% leak proof

By the fusion of pipe and fittings, the plastic will melt to a homogeneous material unit. Pipe and fittings are heated by means of specific welding tools, subsequently jointed then finished. Double material thickness at the joint, means double safety at the otherwise critical point of a pipe system. This will give a lasting, leak proof connection.

1.World class material: All Thai PP-R pipes and joints are made of high quality plastic pellets from Europe to ensure high quality and long life time.

2.Light weight: weighs only 0.89-0.91 g/cm3 or 8 times lighter than Class M steel, making it easy for installation and transportation.

3.Resistance to hot water system: can be used with up to 95˚C water for 50 years under a specified working pressure (see details in the Long-Term Behaviour Table)

4.Clean and safe: approved by Green Peace as safe and clean plastic. In addition, the pipe has been tested according to BS 6920 PART II standard to ensure that the pipe is free from rust, sediment deposits, germs, chemicals, and carcinogens.

5.Homogeneous texture: Installation of Thai PP-R pipes and joints can be easily done by using thermal welding equipment, which fuses the pipe and the joint into homogeneous texture to ensure no leak at the connection.

6.Smooth surface: Low friction in the pipe due to it’s smooth plastic surface makes the flow rate comparable to other plastic pipes.

7.Compatible with other pipes: Various standardized screwed joints allow the Thai PP-R pipe to be used with other pipes.

8.Insulation property: As polypropylene plastic has lower thermal conductivity than steel, the Thai PP-R pipe requires much less insulation than a steel pipe does.

9.Environmental friendly: PP-R is a safe and thermo plastic so it can be recycled with no harm to the environment.
